What it is for
GRP carries a high density of potential γ-carboxylation sites across its sequence, and the extent and distribution of carboxylation in native GRP remain largely undefined. No single antibody can resolve the overall carboxylation status of full-length GRP. Antibodies raised against individual carboxylation-sensitive epitopes are therefore the practical way to study epitope-specific GRP carboxylation in biological samples.
MA:C50 recognizes a γ-carboxylated epitope of human GRP and does not cross-react with the corresponding non-carboxylated peptide. Specificity was demonstrated with the matched synthetic peptides and by the distinct staining patterns obtained against MA:UC50 in tissue.
- • Comparative tissue localization using the matched MA:C50 and MA:UC50 pair
- • Assessment of GRP epitope carboxylation patterns in human tissues

Handling
Reconstitute with 50 µL sterile protease-free water for a final concentration of 1 µg/µL, by gentle rotation at 4 °C for at least 12 hours.
Shipped at room temperature, lyophilized.
After reconstitution store at -20 °C for up to two months. For long term storage use -80 °C.
Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
